Job description / Role
Candidate initially required for 6 months, Can be extended afterwards
Job Role:
- Responsible for maintenance of financial books in accordance with internationally accepted accounting standards for certain subsidiaries and ensure the compliance with Companys policies and procedures.
- Manage and plan the various functions in Financial Accounting Unit which includes General Ledger, Revenue Accounting, Payables, Fixed Assets and Materials Accounting.
- Explain and support other business units in their understanding of the financial results and governance procedures. This includes HO, all outstation and Group entities.
- Manage requirements for audit reports.
Requirements
Qualifications and Education:
- Chartered Accountancy from a reputable Institute of Chartered Accountants
- Bachelor of Commerce.
Experience:
- Minimum 5 years post qualification experience with a reputable firm (preferably Big 4).
- 3 years managerial experience in large multinational organisation
- Continuous IFRS compliance is mandatory.
Training:
- Oracle / SAP ERP
- Aircraft Route Profitability System
- International Financial Reporting Standards
Knowledge:
- Extensive technical knowledge in Financial Accounting & Analysis and detailed knowledge of all modules in financial relating tools.
- Knowledge in Oracle Financials.
- Knowledge in MS Office tools.
