Financial Analysis Manager

Our client in an Investment holding that has a controlling in existing technology companies is Saudi Arabia which is diversified portfolio in Telecommunication, Distribution and Retail businesses. While still newly founded, it has a very ambitious vision and growth plans. Beside managing their current portfolio they are looking to make further green field project investments in addition to acquisition of further companies.

Position Description:
The “Manager - Financial Analysis” is responsible for the effective management of the financial planning, analysis and budgeting activities.

Reporting Relationships:
Reporting To:
· Finance Director

Reporting Subordinates:
· Financial Analyst

Duties and Responsibilities:

· Manage and deliver effective and efficient planning and budgeting for the Company while ensuring proper management and reporting of any deviations.

· Manage the investments analysis and financing engineering of existing portfolio and new businesses in the pipe line for the company.

· Recommend the annual budget guidelines, standards, time schedule and assumptions and communicate them to the relevant stakeholders while documenting the budgeting policies and procedures and help roll them out.

· Ensure that periodical variance reports between actual and budgeted figures are prepared timely and provide them to the concerned stakeholders providing adequate explanations and recommendations.

· Review and discuss the corporate budgets and forecasts with the relevant stakeholders while owning the annual consolidated budget for the Company.

· Provide short term and long term financial planning assistance.

· Perform any other job-related duties as assigned by direct supervisor.

2. Technical Skills
· Strong knowledge of financial planning and budgeting activities.
· Strong understanding of finance and accounting practices and principles.
· Strong knowledge and experience using financial/ERP systems.
· High command of English language and preferably good command of Arabic language.
· Computer literacy.

Requirements

Qualifications:

Essential Qualifications:
· Bachelor degree in Finance, Economics, Management and/or Accounting, or closely related field.

Desirable Qualifications:
· CA / CFA / CPA / CMA certification.

Experience:
· Five to seven years of professional experience in a relevant position performing financial analysis, planning and budgeting activities.
