Manager - Government and Defense

Job description / Role

Our client is a global management consultancy with a recently established office in Dubai. They are experiencing rapid growth as a result of winning multiple long term projects across the region and as such are looking for a Manager to join the team. The business particularly focuses on clients within government and defense, financial services and healthcare.

A Manager is responsible for the management of several small projects or fewer medium size projects. It also involves managing client relationships and frequent contact with senior-level managers to provide technical expertise and project direction.

Responsibilities will also include;
- Taking ownership for developing the client relationship and opportunities for the account.
- Running proposal/sales efforts and closing of select opportunities.
- Managing staff and participating in recruiting efforts.
- Project financial management which includes the achievement of revenue, profitability and cash management goals.

Requirements

The successful individual will have at least 5 years of management consulting experience in government and defense sectors, along with experience of managing several medium size consulting projects.

You will ideally be able to demonstrate a working knowledge of the following;
- Strategy and operating model definition and design (services, organization, process, IT architecture and physical operating facilities).
- IT Solution definition, design, procurement and project management.
- Excellent quantitative and qualitative analytical skills and information processing and development skills.

Fluent written and spoken Arabic and English language skills.
