Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Units Services Ownership:

Taking overall responsibility for the management and maintenance of IT operations and infrastructure services to support the bank business lines.

Ensuring that the ongoing delivery and support of the units services meet agreed business and stakeholders requirements.

Ensuring consistent and appropriate communication for the units services related enquiries and issues.

Assisting in defining service models and in assessing the impact of new services or changes to existing services through the service portfolio management process.

Identifying opportunities for services improvements and raising RFCs as appropriate.

Liaising with the appropriate IT processes owners throughout IT services life cycle.

Soliciting required data, statistics and reports for analysis and to facilitate effective monitoring and performance of the units services.

Serving as the point of escalation for major incidents relating to the units services.

Representing the unit in change advisory board (CAB) meetings.

Participating in services review meetings within IT and with the business.

Ensuring that the entry of units services in the service catalogue is accurate and is maintained.

Participating in negotiating service level agreements (SLAs) and operational level agreements (OLAs) relating to the units services.

Identifying improvement opportunities for inclusion in the continual service improvement (CSI) register.

Units Processes Ownership and Management:

Sponsoring, designing and change managing the units processes and its metrics.

Ensuring that appropriate processes documentation is available and current.

Defining appropriate policies, standards, procedures and working instructions to be employed throughout processes.

Periodically reviewing processes documentation to ensure that it is still appropriate and change as required.

Reviewing opportunities for processes enhancements and for improving the efficiency and effectiveness of the processes.

Communicating processes information or changes as appropriate to ensure awareness.

Ensuring that process practitioners have the required knowledge and the required technical and business understanding to deliver the process, and understand their role in the process.

Requirements

Qualification & Experience

- Degree Qualified - IT related Degree.
- Experience in similar role.
- Experience in the banking Sector.
- Fluency in English & Arabic.
- Preferably based in Saudi with transferable Iqama.
