Manager – IT Projects

Job description / Role

My client, a leading multinational organization in travel and tourism sector, based in the Middle East is currently looking for Manager - IT Projects.

The Manager – IT Projects role will be responsible to deliver selected complex IT projects to time, budget, specification; Champion corporate governance requirements in relation to Project management.

Other responsibility includes:

Deliver IT projects to time, cost and functionality objectives; Creates and execute project work plans and revises as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements; Identifies resources needed and assigns individual responsibilities. Manages day-to-day operational aspects of a project within a defined scope; Minimizes exposure and risk on project. Effectively applies our methodology and enforces project standards.

Requirements

• Candidate must have a proven successful track record in implementing large scale IT technical projects.
• 10 years working experience in IT, at least 5 of which in Project Delivery roles.
• Candidate must be educated up to University Degree level, Computer Science or equivalent Qualification.
• Experience in the Aviation sector will be an advantage
• Training & Knowledge in Price 2 Practitioner is advantageous
• Qualification in IT Project Management, Infrastructure, Business Intelligence and Software are preferred.
