We are currently recruiting for an Infrastructure and Land Development Business Group Manager to lead and further develop our Civil, Infrastructure, Water and Environment Team within our Dubai Office. |
RequirementsRequirementsThe successful candidate will report to the Dubai Office Manager. Primary functions * Providing leadership to the group in line with the GHD’s values, goals and objectives; * Building, managing and enhancing effective relationships with the group’s existing and new clients; * Securing work for the Business Group; * Developing and mentoring the managers of the Service Groups within the Business Group; * Ensuring safety for the people within the group; * Championing GHD’s commitment to Innovation and Sustainability; * Building effective relationships with other Service Group Managers, Support Managers and other key personnel; * Contributing proactively to the Dubai Management Group; * Ensuring technical soundness of work produced by the group; * Achieving financial targets for the Group with respect to forward work, utilisation and invoicing; * Leading sustainable growth of the group’s workload, capabilities and revenue; * Managing and mitigating risks within the Group; Skills & Qualifications * Degree qualified with a relevant engineering degree or postgraduate engineering degree from a reputable university; * Minimum 15 years experience working in civil and Infrastructure works associated with land development and building projects; * Middle East experience is strongly preferred; * Experienced in briefing and managing teams of professional and technical staff and sub consultants; * Proven track record in delivering innovative solutions for large projects, within agreed timescales and budgets; * Excellent commercial awareness with ability to assess risks, influence decisions, and meet client expectations.
