Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

The candidate will be working with Information, Communications & Technology team and will be a professional with strong experience; duties will also entail, but not be limited to:

• Provide Technical Leadership and Management to the Level 2 teams. This includes but not limited to working with the various stakeholders in resolving Incidents that may occur on the Network, managing issues towards permanent fixes and ensuring Changes are deployed with the least amount of impact to the Customer Services.
• Assisting in ensuring successful integration of new or changed application services within existing customer environment
• Owner of change management process and ensures it is consistently followed
• Accountable for ensuring Capacity Management process is consistently followed
• Develop Capacity Plan and ensure it is regularly reviewed
• Provide regular reports to SSC management to ensure network traffic trends are fully understood
• Responsible for maintaining continuity plans for services
• Accountable for ensuring Problem Management process is consistently followed
• Responsible for managing problem queue and ensuring problems are being progressed
• Accountable for ensuring adherence to Security Management process
• Enforcing and monitoring the implementation of, and compliance with the Information Security Policy
• Accountable for ensuring adherence to security of services and associated data
• Accountable for ensuring adherence to security of network infrastructure in order to protect customer data that could be accessed through it.
• provide assistance in resolving security incidents when required
• Review the security implications of all changes that have occurred as a result of implementation activities
• Conduct review of security audit reports agreeing with auditors and SSC management team on actions to be taken.
• Review the applicability of security policies and propose changes
• Ensure implemented processes and established procedures are followed by all system/device administrators

Skills and experience needed :

M) Mandatory, P) Preferred

• M) ICT Related University degree
• M) 8 + years of technical experience
• M) CCNP, CCNP Security for Network position OR
• M) MCSE, OCP for Systems position
• M) Experience of managing technical staff in customer-facing service delivery roles
• M) In depth knowledge of market-leading LAN/WAN technology, and MPLS networks or In depth knowledge of market-leading Systems technology – OS, Database, Applications.
• M) In depth knowledge of Network Security Design OR Systems Security Design, Storage and related technologies
• M) Good knowledge of ITIL framework and excellent understanding of ITIL Incident Management process
• M) Good communications ability with customers
• M) Ability to create and maintain good relationships with colleagues
• A) Bi-lingual English and Arabic
