Job description / Role
Charterhouse is working with a leading regional bank. Our client is looking to hire a Manager Infrastructure to join their organisation in Manama.
Reporting to the Head of IT, you will manage the helpdesk as well as the system, database and network administration. You will ensure the mission critical systems across IT are fully functional to serve customers around-the-clock. You will also guarantee efficiency of the helpdesk to provide support to all our clients systems and users.
Additionally, you will supervise the system administration section to monitor and administer bank servers and systems minimising down-time. You will also provide communication systems LAN / WAN around-the-clock whilst ensuring database administrators are maintaining an efficient database environment for all bank systems, guaranteeing secure, reliable and uninterrupted services.
Requirements
The successful candidate should have a bachelors Degree in computer science with at least 10 years experience in a similar position within a bank. You should have a strong knowledge of infrastructure set-ups coupled with experience in complex networks. It is essential you have excellent English communication skills whilst Arabic would be advantageous.
