Job description / Role
Purpose of the Role:
To drive the people agenda within the Firm in the area of Learning and Development (L&D) by ensuring quality and value adding interventions;
Job Profile
• Takes responsibility for a complete Learning and Development Process;
• Implement an integrated training plan process covering both behavioral/soft skills and functional training programs – flowing out of the performance development process;
• Facilitates training needs identification of all employees both behavioral and functional/technical capability development;
• Designs/assists in the design of training/learning programs.
• Makes sure that the leadership and the employees are informed of the firm’s policies and practices in the Learning and Development;
• Designs and implements the annual training calendar planned for the year;
• Plans and oversees the management of the logistics of training delivery;
• Examines the effectiveness of training and application of learning by the participants by ensuring the disciplined practice of the Self Training Action Report (STAR);
• Prepares and manages the L&D budget and ensures cost effectiveness of training delivery;
• Tracks and evaluates faculty/facilitator effectiveness through appropriate mechanisms;
• Builds expertise and designs/delivers some of the training programs
• Co-ordinates with MESA/EMA/Global KPMG vis-à-vis relevant training programs and takes up where necessary for ensuring appropriate inputs with respect to local requirements and context;
• Examines registration and attendance of participants to training programs and takes up with concerned people corrective action where necessary;
• Monitors the efficacy of the e-learning and virtual training processes and systems for necessary corrective action;
• Streamlines and eliminates costly and time consuming processes to maximize training management efficiency;
• Ensures maintenance of records and documents for compliance to process and policies of the firm
Requirements
Individual Profile:
Education – Graduate/post graduate in HRM from a reputed and recognized University/institute (CIPD, SHRM etc).
Additional certification /professional training in Learning and Development would be an advantage.
Must be conversant with use of e-learning tools.
Experience:
7-9 years of Learning and Development experience preferably from a reputed Consulting or financial co. (Big Four Audit Firm would be an added advantage), out of which the last 2 years should have been in at a similar level.
