The RoleThe RoleClient/Industry : Our client is UAE based Retail, Distribution and Trading Conglomerate Job Description : Build the IT infrastructure Maintain the data centre components, e.g. servers, operating systems, storage, fail-over and clustering softwares, UPS etc. Maintain the LAN/WAN components like routers, switches, modems etc. Maintain the computer hardware, peripherals and devices Maintain the IT security components e.g. firewall, IDS etc. Maintain the voice and data communication network Responsible for data backup/recovery, safekeeping and Disaster Recovery routines Implement and maintain the ITIL/BS7799 security framework for IT security, operations and management Ensure quality of the established processes for management of the IT infrastructure Assist Head-MSD in improving the IT management processes Assist Head-MSD in monitoring SLAs Assist Head-MSD in planning of new infrastructure projects/expansion. |
RequirementsRequirementsQualification : B.Tech./MCA Experience : 10 years post qualification Other Details : Must Have Skills/Knowledge: MS Winx, WinOffice, Outlook & IE, SAP GUI MS Win200x, UNIX, AS/400 OS Configuration of routers, firewall, IDES, encryption protocols IT asset management processes Reporting structures for incident management IT Help desk management and vendor SLA monitoring processes BS7799 IT Security Standards and Processes Preferred Skills/Knowledge : Team management skills Good inter-personal skills Communication skills – written and verbal Should be able to manage relationships with a range of stakeholders across all levels in the organisation Location : Dubai Salary : Fixed Monthly Salary of AED 16K to 18K /Month + Annual Variables. |
