Job description / Role
Charterhouse is working closely with a leading Qatari bank. Our client is looking to hire a Manager Network Support to join their business on a permanent basis.
This role will be responsible for managing and supporting the banks ICT operations and networks / telecommunications functions. This will include reviewing and providing management consultation in approving high-level networks and system plans, network direction and system solutions proposed by the ICT personnel and vendors.
Requirements
The successful candidate should have a Degree in computer / information sciences coupled with a minimum of 7 years experience in networks, systems and computer operations. You should also have at least 3 years leadership experience managing multiple, large, cross functional teams or projects and influencing senior level management and key stakeholders. It is essential you have extensive knowledge in firewalls, routers, switches, wireless access points and controllers and monitoring applications as well as Cisco, VOIP and VPN experience. Additionally, you should have an excellent command of the English language and ideally, experience working in a banking / financial services environment.
