The Role


The Role


1. Deliverables/milestones:

• Upgraded BankDhofar general website
• Upgraded BankDhofar online banking system
• Roadmap for mobile banking development at BankDhofar
• Update and upgrade mobile banking system to be inline with the latest technology trend

2. Main duties:

A. Online Banking:

• Interview customers to determine what they will use online channel for
• Determine current capabilities of the current channel
• Research best practice online channel usage from other (GCC, international) banks
• Identify gaps between BankDhofar and best practice
• Develop plan on what BankDhofar should have and in what detail (website per segment, details on each product, potential to make online booking through website)
• Re-design website to incorporate learning from customer interviews and best practice banks
• Identify IT requirements for redesign
• Beta launch website and test with customer focus group
• Make any changes from focus group results
• Rollout new website for each segment

B. Mobile Banking:

• Interview customers to determine customer needs
• Determine current capabilities of the mobile channel
• Research best practice mobile channel usage from other (GCC, international) banks
• Identify gaps between BankDhofar and best practice
• Develop plan on what BankDhofar should offer with the mobile channel
• Develop mobile channel to incorporate learning from customer interviews and best practice banks
• Identify IT requirements for mobile development (simple to use login scheme, low downtime)
• Beta launch mobile and test with customer focus group
• Make any changes from focus group results
• Rollout new mobile channel for each segment

Requirements


Any nationality preferable Omani
Solid knowledge of current banking practices
Should possess excellent leadership and decision making skills.
Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and Arabic
Strong interpersonal skills
Motivated, initiative, innovative and dynamic
Problem solving and critical thinking skills
Excellent knowledge of MS office
Flexible during times of change.
The candidate should be able to translate customers’ requirements into easy to use deliverables
Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment is crucial.
Should be able to meet deadlines and targets maintaining absolute control of risks
