In alignment with Qatars healthcare directions and the organizations mission, goals and targets, the Manager Organizational Effectiveness partners with Sidras leadership and external stakeholders to define, design, develop, implement and evaluate data driven programs, processes and large scale initiatives that will help to transform the Sidra workforce toward a culture of excellence and high performance within a values based healthcare environment. The Manager, Organizational Effectiveness serves as a subject matter expert in the area of Organizational Culture & Workplace Diversity and leads the organizational effectiveness strategy using thought leadership and evidence based interventions, methodologies and practices. The role is also accountable for effectively managing resources, development and performance within own section.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Develops strategies and initiatives that align, promote and encourage the improvement of the different Branches so each Branch can meet its mission, fully realize its potential and maximize its ability to make positive and lasting contributions.
- Works closely with Learning and Development and designated HR Directors such that the Organization Effectiveness processes place equal focus on the development of the individual employees as well as that of the function.
- Conducts the Climate Assessment and coordinates with individual departments to set action plans.
- Leads activities to design tactics and interventions to enhance work environment and improve effectiveness in connection with findings from Climate Assessment.
- Designs tools and means to improve communication channels within the organization for productive cooperation/teamwork and to build trust and respect.
- Identifies core values and establishes interaction ground rules and linkages to behavioral competencies.
- Counsels individuals regarding work place behaviors.
- Lends a "third party perspective" to difficult problems.
- Assesses personal work styles and provides coaching on how to integrate all styles for a positive and productive work environment.
- Develops methods for employee recognition to enhance feelings of self-worth and importance.
- Designs and organizes team building activities in coordination with Learning and Development to reduce white spaces and improve collaboration in the organization.
- Leads and effectively manages an Organizational Effectiveness (OE) team that works collaboratively and consultatively across all layers of management to analyze needs and design and implement change management solutions that meet organizational culture, diversity and team development requirements in support of a culture of excellence and high performance.
- Works in consultation with all other L&D centers of excellence to collaboratively design, develop, deliver, drive, deploy, document and benchmarking a suite of OE programs, initiatives surveys, processes and tools that represent best practice in the areas of organizational culture development, diversity and workplace inclusiveness and team development.
- Works with HR Directors in regard to the developmental aspect of their partnerships
- Provides accurate data-driven and considered advice, recommendations and reports to the Executive Director and other senior stakeholders in regard to OE initiatives.
- Diagnoses workplace changes and cultural issues and assesses risks and impacts (real and potential) using data and evidence from best practice OD/OE models (e.g. McKinseys 7s, Six Sigma etc.)
- Builds collaborative relationships with internal internal/external partners and stakeholders to ensure that OE initiatives and competencies are embedded in Branch planning and performance initaitves.
- Negotiates and influences across multiple functions and structures to ensure an ongoing focus on workplace excellence and high performance.
- As a subject matter expert, helps the competency team define and design competencies related to change, cultural competence, collaboration, communication, teamwork, diversity and inclusiveness.
- Manages team communication, collaboration, liaison and networking to ensure a strong professional relationship across Sidra.
- Manages OE records accurately and prepares weekly management reports.
- Undertakes research and contributes to publications related to effective Organizational Effectiveness in healthcare.
- Creates and manages a safe and productive workplace environment that is culturally competent and fosters individual and team-based learning, development and growth.
- Creates an inclusive workplace environment that appreciates and respects different and diverse ideas, perspectives and beliefs.
- Manages JCI and QMentum International accreditation support related to Organizanal Effectiveness.
- Adheres to Sidras standards as they appear in the Code of Conduct and Conflict of Interest policies.

In view of the evolving needs and opportunities within Sidra during this pre-operational phase, this position may be required to perform other duties as assigned and reporting relationships may vary.

Requirements

- Bachelors degree in Social Science, Organizational Psychology, HRD or equivalent knowledge domain.
- 7+ years of demonstrated workplace experience in the HRD / OD domain of which 3+ years in managing the organization-wide OD or OE function and team.
- Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of contemporary Organizational Development/Effectiveness theories, frameworks and tools and how it relates to organizational capability and performance.
- Demonstrated ability to apply systems thinking and approaches.
- Demonstrated success in implementing strategic organizational effectiveness programs within a large complex operating environment.
- Demonstrated ability to lead a diverse team of specialist practitioners.
- Ability to work effectively within an international and multicultural environment
- Demonstrated ability to build mutually beneficial and strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
- Demonstrated ability to apply qualitative and quantitative methods to initiatives and interventions as appropriate
- Ability to work effectively in an international and multi-cultural environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite
- Fluency in written and spoken English
