Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Our client are looking for someone to report directly to the Director of Accounting and is responsible for setting the strategic direction of projects in the context of financial accounting.

The successful candidate will need to display an ability to provide high quality and cost effective project management, analytic support services and technical expertise for a broad array of financial and non financial issues.

The objective of the role is to critically review finance business process and identify scope for continuos improvement. To achieve best practice governance within finance and ensure compliance with finance poloicies, procedures, SOPs, guidelines, as well as upcoming requirements of IFRSs/IASs and other statutory requirements.

Requirements

- Managing the projects team in carrying out finance projects in an efficient and timely manner.
- Critically review finance processes and identify scope for improvement.
- Managing projects by taking responsibility for the admin work on a project.
- Assisting in preparation and completion of projects documentation.
- Arranging and attending meetings with appropriate divisional personnel in line with project work.
- Preparing reports and putting together analysis tables.
- Providing feedback on projects through project monitoring.
- Must be a qualified accountant - CA/CPA/ACCA.
- Minimum 5 years of post qualification experience in a similar role.

Salary AED 18,000 - AED 22,000.
