Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

The candidate will be working within Information, Communications & Technology Team and will be a professional with strong experience; primarily responsible to manage and maintain the IT Service processes and implementation with emphasis on quality.

Duties and Responsibilities will entail:
- Ensuring documentation regarding processes and procedures are complete and available to stakeholders and all IT service management functions.
- Performing skill assessments of staff and ensuring right resources are mapped as per job requirements.
- Performing internal process gap analysis on a regular basis and implement the continuous service improvement plans.
- Accountable for developing effective Security Management process
- Conduct security audits on the systems and infrastructure
- Conduct review of security audit reports and agree with NOC management team on actions to be taken.
- Recommend changes to architecture standards for FEDnet in order to improve or maintain security, while complying to TRA security standards
- Review security implications of proposals for changes to infrastructure managed by the NOC
- Conducting review of security audit reports and monitor preventive actions taken to improve security posture
- Ensuring a practice of keeping security related system and design documentation up-to-date from the first time system handover to throughout all systems lifecycle.
- Ensuring any system update/modifications are going through proper change management process with necessary security representation during impact analysis
- Ensuring information security intelligence gathering and security trends monitoring practice is established to share vital information throughout ITO layer.
- Establishing appropriate measures to assess operational capabilities and determine compliance and effectiveness levels with the Service Management & Security Standards
- Providing an annual report to the Head of NOC and Customer, on the progress of Continuous Service Improvement Plans

Requirements

- ICT Related University Degree
- 8+ years of experience of Service Management within a company or government department
- ITIL Expert
- Experience in the role of Quality Management
- Hands-On experience in conducting audits and reviews of Service Management Processes & Information systems
- Experience of Security Management within a company or government department
- Experience in the role of Information Security Officer
- Hands-On experience in conducting security audits and reviews of information systems
- Experience in the use of the ITIL framework and good understanding of all ITIL processes
- Experience of Risk Assessment and Management
- Good communications ability
