The RoleThe RolePRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Determines quality assurance projects to be pursued Works with CCAD staff to design effective process and performance improvement strategies Helps assign trained process improvement facilitators to implement the performance improvement strategy Develops and maintains relationships throughout CCAD to ensure support for process and performance improvement goals relative to quality improvement and compliance Manages resources in an effective and efficient manner Develops and maintains a long-term monitoring process to ensure the sustainment of results Prioritizes and implements projects critical to helping achieve the overall objectives of CCAD Manages a staff of process, performance improvement and quality assurance project managers and analysts |
RequirementsRequirementsEXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS Minimum of four to six (4-6) years experience in six sigma or lean six sigma deployment, training or coaching is required Strong organizational and problem-solving skills Strong oral and written communication skills Ability to speak and write in English is required Ability to speak and write in both English and Arabic is preferred Health care industry experience is preferred Managerial and/or supervisory experience is preferred Coordination of the ongoing collection and dissemination of other sources of information, such as published hazard notices or recall reports Coordination of the preparation of summaries of deficiencies, problems, failures, and user errors related to managing the Environment of Care, including a summary of incidents involving patients Hazard surveillance and incident reporting Development of safety policies and procedures Monitoring of performance relative to actual or potential risk(s) in the Safety Management Plan Annual evaluation of the objectives, scope, performance, and effectiveness of the Safety Communication to the Patient Care Assessment Committee, as appropriate. EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS  Bachelors degree in Quality, or related field, is required  Masters degree in Quality, or related field, is preferred  Certification in six sigma or lean six sigma is preferred |
