Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

• To achieve the company’s Retail & Fleet business objectives and enhance the customer satisfaction levels and to project a good image of the Principal and the organization to customers.
• To assist with the preparation and achievement of the Fleet/Retail Business Plan – Internal and the Principal commitments.
• To build and maintain relationships with customers through the work of the sales team, and ensure achievement of Higher Fleet/Retail Customer Satisfaction Index
• To build an effective team, leading and motivating the Sales Executives to achieve their respective targets, and ensure their compliance with company policies, dress code and attendance.
• To submit reports on daily walk-ins, Prospects, lost orders, and customer feedback to the GM
• To provide Fleet/Retail Sales Forecast to General Manager and be responsible for `the vehicle ordering
• To ensure the maintenance of Fleet/Retail price levels and GP percentage without discounting the brand
• To ensure effective communication and implementation of the marketing campaigns to help achieve the campaign objectives
• To continuously upgrade the showroom merchandising, branding, POP and display of vehicles
• To ensure that the demonstration vehicles are maintained as good as new vehicles, and keep relevant documents/records
• To ensure regular visits to the fleet customers to enhance the business and build strong professional business relationships
• To ensure the development of new fleet customers to achieve higher market share by conquest sales
• To ensure YKA participation in all the major Ministry and Government Tenders by assessing the published opportunities
• To develop a strong up to date customer database, with information from sales executives, and categorise the customer segment as per their purchase pattern
• To review market conditions and source new business opportunities with in set targets
• To plan and arrange a regular visit by CFT (Cross Functional team- Service, Parts and Sales representative) to the fleet customers
• To ensure the smooth implementation of all company systems, policies and procedures e.g. FIFO, Delivery process.
• To liaise with the finance companies and Head Office Credit dept to expedite receipt of the credit approvals for the customers
• To submit monthly Market Intelligence report to GM (Competitor’s activity, Government & Economy related, New Product information, Customers etc.)
• To analyse the sales trend, lost orders and submit a report on a monthly basis to GM
• To ensure that all the telephone enquiries are answered courteously and customer complaints handled with care, resolved and reported to the management.
• To co-ordinate with other departments e.g. Parts, Service, Body shop, PDI, Traffic dept for the smooth implementation of the entire sales process and to support customer request as and when required
• To monitor the performance of the Sales Team and provide any relevant trainings and coordinate with the Training Manager for the development of the staff
• To arrange Fleet Customer meet/event and Road shows
• To undertake any other management assignment given from time to time, as required

Requirements

University Qualifications: Post graduate in Marketing & Sales

Nature and length of previous experience: Graduate with a minimum of 8-10 years Fleet/Retail Automobile Experience in GCC markets including sales management experience having overall P&L responsibility
