The Role


The Role

•Having an excellent Islamic Banking experience and responsible for all treasury operations including bank investments.
•Strategic cash management, exposure management, treasury reporting finance, commercial risk management.
•Promote, control and coordinate banks treasury business with objective of maximizing profitability.
•Managing ALCO exposure, specifically rate risks and mismatched positions.
•Maximizing profitability with regard to revenue derived from the trading, financing, hedging and other treasury activities in compliance with sharia laws.
•Management of cash and short term investment, in order to provide funding for disbursement for operations and to invest excess cash prudently and in adherence with sharia and the bank policies

Requirements


Requirements

1. Should possess a Diploma or Degree in Finance / Economics or Accounting or having an equivalent certificate related field with a minimum of 3 years Islamic Banking Experience
2. Oman National Preferred
3. Should monitor compliance with Bank's policy and procedures
4. Should effectively manage the bank's assets/ liabilities requirements, etc
5. Should possess effective communication skills to interact with all level in the organization with strong oral and written skills
6. Should possess excellent leadership and decision making skills
7. Should be self motivated, initiative, innovative and dynamic
