Job description / Role
Charterhouse is working with a significant competitor in the professional services market. They have a unique opportunity for an experienced professional who has worked in the valuations area to join this growing area of their business.
Our client is looking to hire a Manager to supplement their Kuwait based team. You will undertake and manage valuation assignments, ensuring valuations are carried out to a high standard and that all projects are compliant, delivered within the agreed timescale and within budget. After gathering the clients requirements you will work closely with the Senior Managers, Directors and Partners to produce written file notes, letters, presentations and reports to formulate views on value and present conclusions to senior stakeholders internally. In addition, you will be responsible for coaching and mentoring junior members of the team to help develop their business valuations skills.
Requirements
The successful candidate should have a strong academic record ideally with a MBA, CA, ACCA or CFA professional qualification. You should have 6 to 8 years valuations experience preferably with a professional services firm and familiarity in business valuations, intangible asset valuations as well as impair testing work. Due to the nature of the region this role will operate in, an understanding across multiple sectors is required. Arabic communication skills or GCC experience would be highly beneficial. Our client has expressed a preference for a candidate with Western qualifications.
