Manager of Civil/Structural Sales/Business Development - MENA Region

Our client is a well known international contractor with a strong presence in the GCC region. They are looking for a Manager of Sales and Business Development for civil/structural construction projects for the MENA region. Applicants must have previous experience with sales and business development in the GCC, specifically related to the construction of civil engineering projects.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintains sales volume, product mix, and selling price by keeping current with supply and demand, changing trends, economic indicators, and competitors.
- Implements national sales programs by developing field sales action plans.
- Organize the availability of company members for media/PR events as necessary.
- Prepare sales targets with reference to the prevailing market situations
- Provides timely feedback and business outlook to management regarding performance.
- Develops a business plan and sales strategy for the market that ensures attainment of company sales goals and profitability.
- Striving to maximize profit margin.
- Determines annual unit and gross-profit plans by implementing marketing strategies; analyzing trends and results.
- Controls expenses to meet budget guidelines.
- Oversee distribution of all marketing and publicity materials.

Requirements

- Previous experience in MENA/GCC region.
- Familiar with MENA markets.
- Previous construction industry experience preferred.
- Business development profiles are preferred.
- Previous experience employed by a contractor preferred.
- 10+ years experience in similar roles.
- Must have previous GCC experience.
