The RoleThe RoleWe are looking for an experienced Manager of Shipping reporting to CEO of the company. In addition to below mentioned qualifications, the candidate should be able to communicate clearly in written and verbal English. We offer an attractive package to the qualified candidate. POSITION DESCRIPTION: Manager of Shipping Services will be responsible for planning, execution of all the shipping from and to company. Will also supervise the Sea Captains to ensure that the berthing request process for deployment of all the ships is administered in a timely fashion. In addition will maintain a close relationship with Port Authorities, Port Agents and Government Agencies in frequently used ports of call. The position also provides aggressive and thorough follow-up and transportation scheduling on sourced items to ensure their timely delivery in order to meet production requirements. POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible for transportation analysis and savings/cost opportunity analysis. Ensure the distribution of Bitumen is done in a most cost effective and timely manner. Provide information, recommendations, and coordinate project implementation for transportation and logistics cost reduction opportunities. Updates and maintains classification log for hazardous classification of items. Verify Record and update the dry docking of our own Bitumen Carrier as well as keeping the IMO and ISO |
RequirementsRequirements Minimum of 5 to 10 years experience in Bitumen Distribution. Required a BS/BA in related fields or the necessary experience equivalent to degree. Speaking other languages such as Farsi and Arabic is a plus. Fundamental Knowledge of Business Development. |
