Job description / Role
Leap29 is currently working with a pioneering bank in Qatar, who are seeking a Manager of Trade Finance Operations with the drive to lead a team in both front and back office undertakings in the trade finance department.
Reporting to the Head of Trade Finance you would be responsible for overseeing a billion dollar trade finance portfolio. You will also be involved in the training and development of new and junior staff. In addition you will receive and verify all types of import/export documents, and be able to analyse them fully.
Requirements
- A degree in a related field, such as; business administration, economics, finance, etc.
- Certified Documentary Credit Specialist (CDCS)
- Approximately 10 years experience in trade finance
- Experience working in both front and back office with a knowledge of supply chain financing
- Strong experience with ICC publications rules
