Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

1. Proactively monitor all marginal and watchlist Corporate/SME accounts to ensure appropriate action is being taken to safeguard the Bank’s interests.
2. In close liaison with the respective Risk teams, manage the Credit Control function of the Bank to ensure that all irregularities in Corporate & SME accounts (excesses / expired limits / past-dues) are highlighted and followed-up.
3. Ensure that all accounts showing initial sign of stress are actively followed up with the respective CBGs/SME. Formalize the account strategy of accounts displaying stress, and take over account management for relationships where an exit strategy is agreed.
4. Co-ordinate and lead the monthly Risk Review meetings with Corporate & SME Risk functions.
5. Manage the provision of all Corporate Credit related Management Information including ongoing reports to Finance, GMRC, BCC, BARC, Board and the Central Bank.
6. Participate and assist in all Credit Control related aspects of internal/external audits and central bank inspections, and ensure implementation of recommendations.
7. To ensure and advise the Management that the Bank is fully compliant with all regulatory requirements as well as is in line with the market best practice.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s/ Professional Degree
• Banking experience Risk Management or Relationship Management experience, with prior experience in remedial loan management.
• Good negotiation and relationship management skills.
• Full understanding of latest regulations that apply to the Bank.
