Job description / Role
A leading regional bank is looking to hire a Business Development professional within Trade Finance.
The new hire will report directly to the Head of the Wholesale Banking group. Your responsibilities will include managing an existing portfolio. You will identify, evaluate and develop new business opportunities. You will contribute in growing the existing portfolio while positively impacting client retention.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Finance / Business Administration from a recognized international educational institute
A minimum of 5 years trade finance experience for the Manager role and 8 years trade finance experience for the Senior Manager role
Sound knowledge of trade finance related products and procedures
Good understanding of general banking operations, with at least 5 years relevant experience
Proactive problem solver and able to identify suitable business development opportunities
Develop and maintain effective internal/external working relationships
UAE or GCC experience is highly advantageous
Fluency in Arabic and English highly advantageous
