Managing Director
Dubai, UAE
Our client is a leading Global Skin Care and Beauty company with a leading share of the Middle East Market. Formally managed through their Paris office they are now looking to have a dedicated Regional Manager based within their subsidiary in Dubai to ensure the sales development and profitability of the company’s operations across the region including the UAE, Qatar, Oman, and Bahrain.
Your overall responsibility will be for all the areas of the business that directly report to the Regional Director Middle East and you will be expected to actively seek the cooperation of other key departments of the parent company as and when required.
More specifically, your responsibilities will include the following:
• to manage a portfolio of existing accounts on the territory
• open new 3 axis accounts in domestic markets
• negotiate with local retailers and follow-up the commercial agreements related to locations, staffing, A&P, purchases, stock management.
• organize and coordinate regular in-store animation
• obtain efficient visibility and exposure for the brand at the point of sale.
• establish a marketing calendar with dedicated activities (skin care tour, make-up artist visits, etc.)
In addition, you will guide and motivate the dedicated team of Promoters/Beauty Advisors and recruit the best Beauty Consultants in the marketplace. You should also understand and complete, with the Managing Director’s input, the annual budgets (the P&L), control operating and variable expenses in line with budget and prepare monthly financial reports.
Requirements
This position is open to Male or Female candidates who are fluent English/French speakers with the addition of Arabic being a distinct advantage. You will be required to demonstrate 7 to 10 years professional experience at a similar level of responsibility or as Sales & Marketing Director having overseen significant levels of business and sales teams plus a proven record of experience in the UAE with any of the main domestic Perfumes & Cosmetics companies. A Retail background within the Emirates is a plus.
