Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Our client is a local investment business with a major focus on industrial opportunities and a portfolio of manufacturing enterprises. They currently seek an Arabic speaking controller to be based in their Dubai operation.

Financial Objective
- Facilitate in preparation of Annual Business Plan by assisting the unit heads in co-coordinating the whole process with various HOD, incorporating proper financial data in the Business Plan, and co-ordinate with Group Office for its subsequent approval and implementation.
- Ensure accurate & timely recording of the financial transaction of the Company’s operation in order to produce accurate reporting for the management of the company for their decision making towards meeting business objectives
- Prepare & monitor Cash flow statement including forecast for a reasonable period of time to ensure working capital requirements are met for smooth business operation.
- Increase the profitability of the company.

Customer Objectives
- Contribute in suggesting ways for continuous improvement in services and products in order to maximize customer satisfaction.
- Suggest ways in coordination with the unit heads to constructively review customer feedback to assess level of customer satisfaction.
- Establish good working relationship with banks, auditors, consultants, customers and suppliers.

Process/Operational
- Establish system & procedures (including internal controls), plan & manage the work of the Finance & Admin functions so that resources are effectively utilized
- Co-ordinate with Group Functions (Finance, HR, Audit etc.) and ensure implementation of Corporate
policies & procedures in order to achieve the

Business Objectives
- Authorize various financial transactions (LPO’S, Journal Vouchers, Payment Vouchers etc.) within the authorized limits for appropriate recording of the financials and its reporting
- Assist in the development of Subsidiary business plans and take the lead on the development of the Corporate business plan
- Be the advisor on financial and operational issues to the Subsidiaries.

People Development
- Recruit, train, motivate and develop departmental staff ensuring that objectives are established and communicated; individual performance is supported, monitored and reviewed to ensure higher levels of performance.

Requirements

Applicants must have the following:

1. MUST be a native level Arabic speaker

2. Must be a qualified accountant or equivalent

3. Age 35-42 years old

4. Experience in Manufacturing either through an in-house role OR as an audit client
