The Role


The Role


The main accountability of the Marine Superintendent will be to ensure the safe operation of vessel in the Middle East region and compliance to company OMS through monitoring and auditing key activities and ensuring closeout of ISM related activities.

Responsibilities will include but not limited to:
•Provide marine support to the Middle East Region, Operations, SHE-Q and Commercial department
•Liaise closely with Client Representative and supervise marine activities of contract(s)
•Undertake safety and quality inductions/audits of new personnel in the Middle East region
•Evaluate employee performances, compliance with operations, safety procedures and general condition and maintenance of the vessel.
•Implementation of Operations Management System and Ensure compliance on all vessels.

Requirements


Requirements


The ideal candidate would have sailed as a Master and have experience with SPM Operations and Tugs, preferably with Oil Majors. Experience with Pilotage or diving related operations would be a distinct advantage. Strong communication, planning and ISO implementation skills are essential.
