Job description / Role
Our client is based in Bahrain and is looking to recruit a Maritime Engineer / Project Manager (Engineering Consultancy background) who's skills match the following criteria:
* Experience with various maritime and structural engineering related software tools (desirable)
* Knowledge of maritime design standards
* Occupational Health and Safety (desirable)
* Project Management (desirable)
* Extensive experience with: Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel, Word and PowerPoint
* Experience with MS Project and/or other scheduling products
Experience
* The role requires experience in all facets of maritime engineering, including port planning, design of maritime structures, dredging and reclamation and coastal processes.
* At least 2 -3 years of progressive engineering experience in the design of infrastructure associated with maritime projects.
* At least 2-3 years post-graduate experience in work relating to the Engineering work group, including extensive experience working within a Consultancy environment (essential).
* Experience in project management (desirable).
* Experience in the submission of successful engineering bids.
Ideally this role would suit someone on a single status
