Employment: Full Time

Responsible for leading, managing and directing all of the market development related activities in Turkey, Middle East & Central Asia. He/she will work with the Strategic Business Unit (SBU) leadership team to identify, document and execute a growth strategy for the business. This person will also work with the business and functional leaders to create and prioritize a tactical growth plan for the business. This will be accomplished by leading a global team of marketing professionals to develop and execute on the business strategic and annual plan.

The successful candidate will work closely with internal executives, field sales and marketing organization, key business partners and the senior management team to maximize the growth, development and return on investment of Automation & Control Solutions (ACS) product portfolio in Turkey, Middle East & Central Asia. This will include development of customer insights, market intelligence, sales analysis and partnership/ distributor identification so as to capitalize on business opportunities.

Responsibilities:
- Work with Strategic Marketing to develop strategic plans that enable businesses to grow faster than their markets inclusive of target accounts and account penetration plans
- Define marketing and business plans aligned to the strategic plan
- Lead integrated cross- functional teams to execute plan to drive financial results
- Develop and implement comprehensive plans focusing on growing sales and increasing profitability
- Develop forward looking product, software and service plans that enable profitable growth into the future
- Lead the partner/distributor identification process for the ACS SBUs in Turkey, Middle East & Central Asia
- Identification of cross- selling opportunities that fully utilize the breadth of Honeywells product software service offerings across all businesses
- Investigate marketing opportunities with significant scale and synergy to drive growth and leverage current portfolio of products, software and services
- Use management operating system to drive results
- Portfolio analysis and assessment to identify revenue and growth plans by market segment
- Identification and evaluation of organic growth strategies by product line, globally
- Identification and evaluation of inorganic growth strategies including acquisitions, alliance, licensing, and partnership opportunities linked to the strategic plan
- Fact- based analysis of market trends; competitive data, technology advancements and customer needs assessment and new product developments

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree required in Finance, Engineering, Economics or Industrial Marketing. Strong preference for engineering/ technology background with excellent analytical skills. An MBA will be beneficial
- Experience leading market development at country or regional level that resulted in sales and profit growth
- Product marketing and sales experience
- Fluent in speaking and writing in English (Turkish or Arabic is an advantage)
- Proven strategic marketing, strategy formulation and market development skills, inclusive of identifying and closing accounts
- International experience and culturally savvy. Specifically the candidate will have knowledge and experience in Turkey, the Middle East and Central Asia
- Experience successfully directing start-up businesses including market assessment, strategic planning, objective setting and implementation
- Track record of establishing short and long term market and product growth goals, then executing operating plans to achieve them
- Strong business acumen, street smarts and an in-depth understanding of the marketing and financial implications of new opportunities
- Experience managing in a matrixed and lean culture that continuously prioritizes operational excellence
- Knowledge of ACSs businesses would be a plus
