FAMCO (Al-Futtaim Auto & Machinery Co.) is a market leading supplier of products & services to a diverse range of industries & commercial undertakings covering the transportation, construction, manufacturing, warehousing, oil & gas and marine sectors. FAMCO is an ISO 9001:2008 & ISO 14001:2004 certified company.We are looking to hire a  Market Executive to be based in our Dubai office.
In 2011 FAMCO expanded regionally by starting operations in Oman and Qatar and entered Saudi through an acquisition. The Marketing Executive will play a key regional role in making sure the FAMCO brand takes a leading position in the industries we do business in. The role requires travelling in the GCC and Arabic speaking skills.

Key Accountabilities for the role are:

* Launch FAMCO in Oman
* Launch FAMCO in Qatar
* Launch FAMCO in Saudi
* Manage marketing plan in each market
* Provide Market Intelligence

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications and Knowledge:

* Bachelors degree in Marketing or Communications
* Cultural knowledge of doing business in the Gulf countries.

Minimum Experience:

* 3-5 years experience

Job-Specific Skills:

* Must have carried out a marketing activity in Saudi, Oman or Qatar.
* Must have worked on a leading international brand and have knowledge of what a brand strategy is and why it is important
* Must have experience in events, planning ads, PR, direct marketing, marketing research
* Arabic speaker, preferably male (due to visa issues in some GCC countries)

* Willing to work long hours and/or weekends
* Willing to travel frequently and on short notice
