The RoleThe RoleOur client, a leading investment bank, is looking for a Market Risk Officer in the market risk management department (financial control). 1. Preparation of daily value-at-risk reports and monitoring against approved limits. 2. Perform back testing of the value-at-risk model against actual results. 3. Assist in the quarterly market risk stress testing exercise. 4. Assist in the monthly valuation of assessments. 5. Participate in the design of the market risk infrastructure so as to ensure the accuracy and completeness of data. 6. Assist group members in project work related to improvements in the design of the market risk infrastructure. |
RequirementsRequirements1. University graduate with degree in Accounting, Mathematics, Computing Science or Engineering (with high GPA score) 2. Strong numerical and analytical skills 3. Good knowledge of MS Office and VBA applications. Prior experience on the use of VBA in developing macros would be a great advantage. 4. Good team player who is keen to develop within the market risk team. 5. Good understanding of capital market products (fixed income, hedge funds, derivatives). |
