Marketing Assistant - DOMASCo - Qatar

Doha Marketing Services Company W.L.L. (DOMASCO), an overseas joint venture of the reputable UAE-based Al Futtaim Group, has been operating business in Qatar for 18 years and has sole distribution Honda, Volvo cars and trucks, reputed brands of watches and electronics such as Raymond Weil, Casio, Sanyo, Aftron and Godrej in the country.

To implement marketing strategies, plans and programs, in the form of advertising and promotions. To support sales activities via the management and maintenance of a comprehensive customer database/mailing list. Responsible and accountable for coordination with 3rd party suppliers for events and the execution of all marketing communications activities.

* Advertisements
- Assist in coordination of advertising schedules/requirements between divisions and various publications.
- Assist in conceptualization and preparation of advertising layouts for various brands/products.
- Responsible for inventory management of advertising layouts.

* Marketing Programs & Events Implementation
- Assist in creating marketing programs for all brands.
- Prepare presentations for marketing related programs for various divisions.
- Work with suppliers for the proper and timely execution of production as per the marketing briefs.
- Assist in on site implementation of events, training of concerned merchandisers and execution of BTL programs.

* Showroom Displays/Merchandising
- Assist in preparation and subsequent implementation of merchandising guidelines at company owned and company maintained displays/sales outlets.
- Take part in periodic inspection of showrooms and generation of grading reports vis--vis companys customer service and merchandising standards.
- Responsible for inventory management of merchandising collaterals.

* Customer Database
- Responsible for generation and maintenance of customer database crossing intra-company divisions.
- Responsible for collecting and encoding new inquiries/clients in CRM/CDb format.
- Responsible for daily report generation of new prospects and status of customer leads.
- Use and management of the database for specific requirements.

Requirements

The incumbent will have to work closely with all departments within DOMASCO and will require regular interaction with principals. He/she will also have to liaise with several 3rd party suppliers and communications agencies in order to successfully assist in the execution of divisional marketing plans.

- A diploma or degree in business or marketing
- Extensive experience with excel and power point.
- Extremely well organised and able to multi-task.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and leadership skills.
- Excellent negotiation, problem solving, project management and computer literacy skills.
- Able to work under pressure while working to tight deadlines and attending to multiple tasks.
- Able to work with all people internally and externally and build strong working relationships with all.
- Able to liaise confidentially and professionally with principals.
- Highly motivated, articulate, creative with strong analytical skills. Must be customer focused, pay attention to details and have the ability to handle and prioritize while multi tasking.
