Job description / Role
A company is seeking to recruit a Marketing Assistant who is a motivated fresh university graduate with a proven ability to develop marketing campaigns and to promote new product brands. Familiar with the edification of prospects, cold calling, attending client meeting, product demonstrations, advertising, public relations, distribution, and research. Positive, energetic, focused and eager to further grow and develop existing business skills.
Main responsibilities:
- Arranging the effective distribution of marketing materials;
- Organising and attending events such as conferences, exhibitions, seminars and receptions;
- Contributing to and developing marketing plans and strategies;
- Managing budgets;
- Evaluating marketing campaigns;
- Monitoring competitor activity;
- Supporting the Sales manager in all aspects of his work;
- Writing reports, company brochures and similar documents.
- Using social media and blogging for marketing purposes.
- Communicating with clients in a professional manner;
- Maintaining the marketing database of clients and contacts;
- Sourcing advertising opportunities and placing adverts in the press - local, regional, national and specialist publications - or on the radio, depending on the organisation and the campaign.
Reporting to: Managing DIrector
Subordinates: Sales Manager
Duration: Permanent position
Desired start date: Immediately
Requirements
- Fresh University graduate from any UAE reputable University
- Excellent communicational and presentation skills;
- Effective time management & organisational skills;
- Ability to plan, organise and work to deadlines;
- A strong team player who can also work alone with minimum supervision.
- Language Fluency: Exceptional spoken and written English;
Specialist knowledge:
High level of computer proficiency and demonstrable working knowledge of Microsoft Office;
