Marketing Assistant / Manager

We are currently seeking a Marketing Assistant to join our expanding team in Abu Dhabi. The role will encompass the responsibility for the development and implementation of support materials and services in the area of marketing and communications in order to carry out strategic objectives. You will have excellent communication skills and have a sound understanding of marketing principles. One of the key responsibilities for this position to generate marketing leads for registrations via the creation of new and existing on-line channels.

Reporting to: Director of Marketing & Communications
Desired start date: As soon as possible
Travel requirements: The successful candidate will need a valid UAE Driving License and occasionally travel within the country (i.e. visiting our schools, event locations)

Duties of the Marketing Assistant/Manager include:
- Coordinating the content collation and production of marketing materials and literature.
- Ensure communications are on brand, creatively impactful and send out the right strategic messages.
- Providing support for marketing events and exhibitions as required.
- Leads projects as assigned including briefing agencies.
- Complete, on time, delivery of marketing collateral for launch of cross-media marketing campaigns.
- Develop social media channels, collate and upload engaging content for Aldar Academies' online presence.
- Updating and maintaining the marketing department's documentation and databases.
- Provide marketing tracking and research information by collecting, analysing, and summarizing data and trends.

Requirements

- Minimum of 2 years' experience in Marketing & Communications
- Strong creative, strategic, analytical, organisational and personal skills
- Experience with managing Ad/PR/Digital Agencies
- Sound understanding in the production of print materials and publications
- Effective project management skills
- Computer literate in presentation software
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Personable, presentable and articulate.
- Excellent English Language skills required
- Arabic Language is a plus

Objectives:
The successful candidate with be assisting with the implementation of the companys Marketing and Communications strategy to support Aldar Academies' business objectives. They will increase brand awareness and maximise the generation of leads for school registrations. Communicate and enforce standards and guidelines for all brand communications, in order to insure consistency, level of quality and achievement of objectives.
