Job description / Role
An established law firm is seeking an articulate Marketing Assistant to join their Middle East marketing team. The Marketing Assistant will provide project management and administrative support to the Middle East Marketing Team. This role will be clearly defined in two key areas of focus: Project coordination and marketing support.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Event Management:
* Management of the event calendar, including maintenance of the distribution lists, delegate management and venue logistics.
* Person in charge for event enquiries, support and logistics.
* This may include travel around the region to support events outside Dubai.
Project Management of the implementation of new systems and procedures for the marketing team
* Fusion Self Service marketing site
* Marketing collateral audit, review and production
* Pitch process and materials
* Secretary training
Day to Day Marketing Support:
* Pitch support
* Website review and maintenance
* Market and Client Research
* Coordination, production and distribution of direct marketing material, including brochures, newsletters, legal updates and client presentations.
Requirements
* Strong English Writing skills
* Previous experience working in marketing role within a professional services environment or in a marketing agency with professional services clients.
* Degree qualification (Marketing or Business degree preferred)
* A professional approach and commitment in terms of internal client care.
* Experience in dealing with a demanding workload and conflicting priorities.
