Our client is looking for an individual willing to embrace this role for a period of six months as the current job holder is starting her maternity leave in November. She is currently based in Muscat but our client will consider an individual based in Dubai but willing to travel to Muscat during the contract period.

The position reports to the Head of Business Development and Marketing for the Middle East region and takes day to day instructions from both the local and regional fee earners. The role holder is an integral member of the Middle East BD & Marketing team and will support regional practice groups and offices working on office specific and regional BD projects. There will be involvement in pitching and proposals from bid alerts to presentations and client debrief, managing CVs and website bios, conducting research on the internet and various databases on existing and potential clients and populating the ME proposals tracker with all relevant information. Additionally, managing client events from start to finish including management of venues, attendees, materials and feedback.

Requirements

There will also be responsibility for tailored marketing materials such as brochures and practice group experience statements which will include proofreading, copywriting, coordinating the designing etc. The incumbent will attend weekly meetings in order to share information and best practice and support various initiatives on a global and regional level.

Ideally the applicant will possess over four years experienced garnered within a professional services or consultancy environment, possess an appreciation of a partnership environment and specific issues affecting the delivery of legal services and have the ability to work effectively with partners and other members of the team.

Also solid experience in delivering proposals and bids, a good level of technical competence and strong project management capability.
