Employment: Full Time

The day to day activities of the BDM are often complex and varied and an entrepreneurial and flexible approach is needed to complement the needs of the role. Working for a professional services firm with a presence in over 120 countries, this role is responsible for developing the companys business plan in consultation with the Partners and Fee Earners, setting priorities and strategies to form the groups business plans, driving business development and marketing initiatives and reporting on the progress during monthly team meetings.

There is responsibility for business development by maintaining the pitch database, working with global BD team on multi- office opportunities and preparing capability statements across all practice groups and sectors. Additionally, marketing development is also a key part of the role by managing client events, seminars and conferences from inception to closure as well as creating tailor made packs for clients and perspective clients.

You will also be responsible for the social media in the MENA region and this will include working with the marketing team in the UK HQ to deliver content.
Other miscellaneous duties involve coordinating the design processes, managing the Intranet page, managing the team holidays chart, conduct induction presentations and tracking BD expenditure against budget.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have a t least 5 years marketing or BD experience with sound knowledge of client service standards and clients requirements. Must have a business related degree or professional marketing qualification, be willing to develop and implement new ideas and strive for practical solutions.

Excellent English is a must, the ability to work under pressure and manage conflicting priorities.
