Job description / Role
Market Intelligence:
Understanding of Exploration & Production Oil & Gas Outlook studying the country political context, legal framework, E&P spending and Potential (reserves, production, exports & demand, discovery rate).
Understanding of drilling activity trends (#wells & rigs) by operator & field.
Research of operators well schematics working in conjunction with our clients technical department.
Demand forecasting. Correlates activity with the consumption of TS products.
Study Competitors Performance & Strategy.
Secondary Report to Business Unit Director. Work with the commercial team to define our clients strategic positioning in the different market niches and propose courses of actions.
Market indicators follow-up and report to the commercial front-end.
Identification of business opportunities through ad hoc studies on countries & operators. Report regular news & trends in the market.
Management Control:
Sales and commercial budgeting & Forecasting. (volume, price & Gross Margin analysis)
Preparation of sales reports for Top Management, including monthly P&L analysis and quarterly reports for Investor's Conference Call.
Preparation of documents to support Commercial Front End presentations to customers.
Planning:
Support activities involving the expansion in the regions (business initiatives) . Support EH Planning & Industrial team.
Coordinate Analysis & reports to understand cost structures in the regions related to commercial budget deviations, Working Capital, commercial & supply chain/R&D expenses & provisions.
Team Development:
Coaching & training of resources. Enhance motivation & development.
Client Relationship Management:
Perform customer surveys with senior drilling & procurement managers from Oil & Gas Operators. Lead the analysis of the results & action plans confection.
