A market-leading global chemical company is in the market for an experienced marketing communications specialist to sit within a specific business function of their Dubai office. The role will involve the following key responsibilities:
* Conducting market research and analyzing market trends
* Message mapping to support key marketing communications activities, including presentations, speeches and promotional material
* Maintaining relationships with key media and press contacts, in addition to preparing a press engagement plan
* Writing all external marketing collateral required for the Middle East and Africa
* Engaging with multiple internal and external stakeholders across the region

Requirements

The successful candidate will have a strategic focus and possess strong business to business marketing experience. Essential requirements also include having experience in planning and executing all written marketing communications, including press releases, external communications or publications for external audiences. In addition the personal gravitas and ability to regularly act as a spokesperson on behalf of the company is paramount. The successful candidate will also hold a degree in marketing, journalism or mass communications and have an excellent command of both written and spoken English. Arabic and French speaking / writing skills are equally desirable.
