Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

To provide comprehensive Marketing and Communications service to the Group, working closely with the business to align Group Marketing and Communications strategies with business development strategies.
Deliver a series of events across a range of dining locations within Afghanistan, from including:

• Liaison with unit managers regarding event specifics (dates, menu etc)
• Event promotion: Using promotional materials provided by Marketing team obtain relevant approvals and then place materials across site in a timely manner to ensure effective promotion of the event
• Work with Unit Managers to install events on agreed dates, ensuring high quality implementation achieved
• Capturing and monitoring customer feedback to establish effectiveness of events in achieving agreed targets
• Production of post event report
• Maintain inventory of all event materials, placing orders in good time to ensure replenishment as required

Deliver a series of events and promotions across a chain of retail stores and coffee shops in Afghanistan including:

• Make suggestions for in-store promotional activity
• Event promotion: Using promotional materials provided by Marketing team obtain relevant approvals and then place materials across site in a timely manner to ensure effective promotion of the event
• Liaise with store managers to arrange installation and display of all in-store materials
• Ensure measures in place to monitor effectiveness of promotions and provide regular reports on all activity

Management of Customer Feedback system

• Ensure customer feedback materials replenished and visible across all DFACs, advising Marketing Manager when new stocks required
• Collect completed feedback cards on daily basis from all DFACs and log into Central System
• Liaise with Unit managers to ensure follow up actions logged into Central System and provide Marketing Manager with weekly report

Conduct Quarterly Customer Satisfaction Survey across all DFACS

• Engage customers and conduct face to face interviews to obtain sufficient surveys completed from representative sample of population
• Enter surveys into database in a timely and accurate manner
• Provide support to the Group Internal Communications Manager as required
• Ensure effective placement of all Internal Communications materials
• Audit all Communication activity to ensure effective flow of communication delivered by managers across KAF
• Provide two way conduit for flow of information from KAF to Internal Communications Manager

• Carry out any other marketing activities as required to deliver the marketing plan

Requirements

Essential:
• Excellent inter-personal skills with high standards of personal presentation
• Customer focused individual with highly developed sense of customer service
• Ability to gain buy-in and support from colleagues
• Accurate / fast data entry skills
• Strong organizational skills
• Good written and spoken English
• Minimum 5 years experience within a customer facing role in catering or retail industry

Desirable:
Educated to degree standard
