Job description / Role
Our client, a global professional services firm is recruiting a Marketing Director for it's Dubai office, covering the Middle East and North Africa territories. You will lead the sub-area marketing function comprising the central marketing team, the production agency and the Country/office marketing resources. A replacement role, the Marketing Director will be responsible for continuing the strategic direction of a client relationship marketing/account planning capacity. Covering all business lines, the role is one which involves strong stakeholder management skills as well as a solid understanding of marketing and communications in the Middle East.
Within the role you will work closely with the Business Development teams, both locally, regionally and internationally, whilst reporting to the Middle East Markets Leader. You will advise the Business Development team of the most effective go-to-market strategy and positioning of the firm within the market. The Marketing Director will support and ensure the development of appropriate plans for all business areas, segments and countries within the sub-area.
The ideal candidate will have a solid track record within professional services marketing and business development, whilst having had some exposure to the region previously, or to marketing within an emerging market at the very least. Whilst the strategy has already been built and laid down to a degree, this person needs to have experience operating at a senior level.
