Employment: Full Time

My client is one of the leading banks in the GCC, based in Kuwait.

Reporting the GM, Consumer Banking the Marketing Director will direct marketing activities to ensure the bank's marketing is aligned with its vision and strategic plan and its products and services are known, understood and desired in the market place.

The Marketing Director will develop and implement marketing policies, processes and structures to align with the Bank's strategic plan, as well as drive cross-functional collaboration in the areas of customer acquisition, CRM, brand marketing communications, and digital social media strategy development and implementation.
The Marketing Director will develop standards and ensure marketing communications execution aligns with the requirements and have maximum impact, as well as develop and manage the provision of marketing support across all channels, products and services to ensure best use is made of marcoms etc by the network and other sales operations.

The successful candidate will direct the provision of customer insight which supports business, product development and marketing activities. With regards to Marketing Intelligence & Metrics, he/she will direct data analysis services, track external trends &define metrics to measure and continually improve the efficiency and effectiveness of marketing and lead generation programs. Electronic Banking will involve the direct development of products and services in line with broader product offers, as well as developing and enhancing a social media as a marketing / communication channel.

Finally the individual will provide expertise and advice on marketing approaches and techniques, and manage the appointment of 3rd party partners (PR / Marketing agencies, infrastructure suppliers, research firms), development of SLAs, and managing the relationships to gain value-add services / advice / products

Requirements

- Bachelors in Commerce and/or in Banking/Finance, and/or a professional international marketing qualification.
- Key is extensive knowledge of marketing techniques and approaches.
- At least 10 -15 years in commercial / marketing roles with exposure to financial services.
- At least 7 years marketing leadership experience preferably in the banking sector.
- Exceptional communication & presentation skills.Project management skills.
- Bilingual in Arabic & English
