Job description / Role
Our client is the world leader in the luxury maritime industry and they are looking for an enthusiastic, experienced Marketing and Events Coordinator. With a globally recognised brand and a highly respected team of experts specialising in sales, purchasing, management and marketing this is an exciting opportunity for the right individual.
Our client has been working in the Middle East since 2009 and they are looking for a Marketing and Events Coordinator who will develop and implement a dynamic marketing and event calendar activities that focus on activating shore side activities, outlets and facilities in order to improve footfall and assist with the destination marketing. Additional responsibilities include;
Design, project manage and execute the logistics and event management of the venue
Assist with the preparation, maintenance, coordination and execution of the annual marketing and events calendar
Assist with pre and post event reports
Assist the marketing manager in the functioning of the marketing department procedures
Assist with the preparation, planning and execution of promotional flyers
Assist with supplier negotiations for space contracts and book event space
Serve as a liaison with vendors, suppliers, stakeholders and tenants on event-related matters
Keep accurate records of all communication and ensure all deadlines are adhered to including management of events budgets
Ensure that the promotional marketing and events material is well organised, updated and reflecting the Company's brand identity
Provide day to day marketing support to the Marketing and Management team
Requirements
Minimum 3 years experience in a marketing and events environment, preferably within the tourism, hospitality, retail or events industry
A formal marketing or events qualification
In possession of a valid UAE driving license
Excellent communication skills,, verbal and written
Strong time management skills
Attention to detail
Excellent customer service skills
