Key Duties involve:

Conventional:
- Liaising and networking with customers, colleagues, suppliers and partner organisations;
- Sourcing advertising opportunities and placing adverts in the press - local, regional, national and specialist publications.
- Managing the production of marketing materials, including leaflets, posters, flyers, newsletters, e-newsletters and DVDs;
- Writing and proofreading copy;
- Organising photo shoots;
- Arranging the effective distribution of marketing materials;
- Maintaining and updating customer databases;
- Conducting market research, for example using customer questionnaires and focus groups;
- Contributing to, and developing, marketing plans and strategies;
- Managing budgets;
- Evaluating marketing campaigns;
- Monitoring competitor activity

Social media:
- Responsibility for hands on interaction within social media presences (Facebook, linkedin etc)
- Use of a toolkit to measure and monitor social activity- find out what works, tweak and improve communications, tactics, campaigns etc
- Respond and react to changes within social networks functionality, etiquette, reporting etc
- Monitor and present relevant data, trends, successes, exceptions etc

Requirements

- Minimum 3 years Experience in a similar role
- Ability to work in a team, or independently
- Ability to build and manage relationships
- Experience with social media platforms, including but not limited to Facebook, Linkedin and Google+
