The RoleThe RoleROLE PURPOSE: Leading Financial Institution seeks a Marketing Executive. To work with the Middle East Marketing Manager, globally and designated Middle East Agents to design and execute relevant measurable marketing initiatives for the company, Agents and end users within designated territory. Initiatives are designed to increase transaction volume, maximise marketing budgets, build the brand, achieve business objectives and satisfy joint marketing commitments. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES: Work with the Marketing Manager, Middle East in the development, execution and measurement of marketing, advertising, communication, promotional, and community-orientated strategies and campaigns to maximise the companies Middle East opportunities. Together with the Marketing Manager, Middle East, identify what secondary research data should be gathered and implemented for designated region. Gather competitive information and conduct research on competitors services and markets. Assist with the compilation of reports and provide analysis on market information and business trends. Consider possible brand visibility opportunities and relevant sales support merchandise, POS and Agent materials. Agree with Marketing Manager and implement. Manage suppliers to ensure cost-effective, quality and timely production of materials and signage. Ensure that the company and Agent marketing materials and branding initiatives for designated region are approved by the London based Legal and Marketing departments. Analyse and recommend the most efficient and cost effective route to distribute marketing information and materials to Agents / marketplaces. Agree with the Marketing Manager and review regularly. Take responsibility and be accountable for the management of these activities within budgetary constraints. Brainstorm and gather information on designated regional corridor opportunities, working globally in compiling and analysing this data. Make recommendations to Marketing Manager and implement marketing initiatives that drive quantum increases in profitable transaction volumes. Train, educate and implement the defined Marketing Control Processes with Agents to ensure brand consistency and integrity is maintained in the designated region. Give input and review regularly to ensure effectiveness. Conduct post-implementation reviews on the success of marketing initiatives, measure ROI and share learnings/results. Take practical steps to improve results. Build strong Agent marketing relationships in designated region and assist with relationship building. Be a strong brand advocate and company ambassador. Report weekly to Marketing Manager on ideas, activities and results; participate in regional meetings and MIL training / conferences. Assist in the compilation of presentations for prospective Agents. Liaise with the US and London to ensure consistency of approach and style on all marketing literature etc. Deal with marketing queries and issues as appropriate. Other ad-hoc duties as required by the office or team as they arise. |
RequirementsRequirementsQUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS: Ideally a Marketing Degree, otherwise a Marketing Diploma or a Formal Marketing qualification is necessary. Solid regional marketing experience to include involvement in pan Middle East marketing campaigns is required, where recent experience has been gained at a similar level. Marketing exposure will be across the full marketing communications mix. Previous experience of managing a marketing budget is required. Excellent English and Arabic, both oral and written is essential. Able to build and maintain good relationships both internally and externally. Is able to operate as part of a project team that may be based in a number of different international locations. Excellent organisational and administrative skills - strong attention to detail is essential, thorough and accurate. Able to deal with conflicts internally and externally. Experience of handling conflicting priorities with minimum supervision. Remains calm and focused. A robust and tenacious individual. Excellent analytical skills and ability to interpret financial data. Numerate able to interpret and manipulate numerical/financial data. Computer literate advanced skills in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Able to use and build spreadsheets/basic financial models. A flexible approach to work, especially when travel or long hours of work are required. The successful candidate will ideally have experience of establishing his or her own media/advertising/promotional contacts. Car and driving license is desirable.
