Employment: Full Time

Our client has been operating for 15 years within the Automotive Batteries, Tires, and Lubricants Business. Head-quartered in the 'bustling trading hub' of Dubai - UAE, they operate a network of branch offices in China, South Africa and USA.

Due to expansion they are seeking an experienced, strategic and operational Marketing Manager to develop and implement a marketing strategy and plans that supports all brands and to build and maintain positive relationships with PR agencies and Media

• Develop and implement marketing strategies and plans for each of the company’s product brands in line strategic objectives

• Develop and implement a comprehensive media and public relations strategy.

• Lead and motivate the Marketing team to deliver an effective marketing function in line marketing plans and corporate guidelines

• Source advertising opportunities and place advertisements to promote brands

• Develop and distribute press releases ensuring all communications are in line with brand guidelines

• Develop and implement an annual marketing budget based on annual marketing plans and provide supporting evidence to explain budget variances

• Work closely with Brand Managers to develop marketing plans for penetrating new and existing markets

• Develop marketing campaigns and analyse their performance

• Lead the development of marketing content for marketing campaigns and collaterals

• Lead all advertising and promotional activities across all sales channels

• Review and sign off website content and all marketing communications

• Oversee customer relations and supervise the implementation of action plan to increase customers’ satisfaction

• Oversee the development and implementation of an effective customer relationship database to support the acquisition of new customers and retention of existing customers

• Identify relevant exhibition opportunities and organise the participation in key exhibitions and events

• Ensure compliance to brand guidelines and ensure all brands are managed in line with these guidelines

• Ensure timely distribution and presentation of promotional materials to showrooms, events and exhibitions

• Keep abreast of global marketing trends to ensure the company maintains a best practice approach

• Set and agree individual goals for all direct reports and evaluate individual performance providing feedback on areas of achievement and development

Requirements

To be considered for this opportunity you will hold Postgraduate degree in Business Administration or Marketing, have a minimum of 5 years experience in a Management role and Automotive Industry experience is preferred.
