The RoleThe RolePURPOSE OF JOB: • Develop, manage and implement the overall Corporate Banking marketing strategy for The Company • Develop and direct the strategic and tactical efforts of Marketing Planning, Merchandising and Brand Management to achieve the Corporate Banking business objectives agreed within the Units business plans. PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES: 1. Develop and implement the Corporate Banking marketing strategy and the annual, rolling marketing plan. 2. Directly contribute to the overall Corporate Banking business plan specifically providing the retail and consumer marketing inputs. 3. Direct the market research unit aligning and delivering research projects to support the consumer banking business, in line with the business plan. |
RequirementsRequirementsREQUIRED EDUCATION: Professionally qualified in Marketing (e.g. post graduate degree from a recognized body such as the Chartered Institute of Marketing) or equivalent experience. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE: The individual must have extensive professional experience obtained, marketing driven organizations within the Financial Services industry or Banks. Experience must cover management of the full marketing mix at senior level. Must have prior experience of running teams responsible for service quality, market research, marketing planning and product development. Requires a thorough knowledge and extensive experience of advertising agency management and campaign development. REQUIRED SKILLS: Must be a strong and effective leader, capable of building and directing multi disciplinary teams, managing a wide range of projects running in parallel. Strong strategic development and management skills are essential. Must be capable of carrying strategic developments through to implementation. Good analytical skills with a detailed understanding of the financial mechanics of the Corporate Banking business. A strong appreciation of research methodologies and how to apply these in a retail consumer environment. Strong project management and implementation skills required. Equally well developed planning skills are essential for the workflow and resource planning of the department as well as the planning and organization of all on going marketing activities required to support the retail business. Must be a good team coach and team player. Must be an excellent communicator at all levels across the organization. |
