Employment: Full Time

My client is an international Agency who provide worldwide tailored practical conferences, large scale events, topical seminars and in-house training programs. A position has arisen as a Marketing Manager whom will in coalition with the Marketing Director responsible for the strategy, analysis and execution of marketing plans.

This person will be a relationship-builder adept at developing beneficial relationships with key stakeholders and partners both internal and external to maximize promotion opportunities. This person will be a team-player who thrives in a busy, fast-paced environment and is able to flex between the analytic and creative, using data to drive their decisions and generating innovative ideas with a view to constantly improve results and performance. This is an office-based role in Dubai.

Primary responsibilities:
- Create a targeted marketing strategy for each conference using the full range of direct marketing channels including but not limited to email, website, direct mail, online marketing and social media marketing, in order to achieve event objectives, budgeted delegate numbers and KPIs
- Conduct detailed response analysis of past performance in order to develop your marketing strategy
- Manage the direct marketing portion of the overall event marketing budget, ensuring optimal use of your allocated budget and maximising ROI
- Ownership and responsibility for all marketing communication strategies including:
- Data strategy Identify data gaps and strategies to plug these gaps through the in-house data build team and external partners, manage and monitor data build, and if necessary, externally source and acquire new data
- External marketing strategy Own and manage the relationship with key external marketing partners including identifying key associations, publications, portals, sponsors and speakers, negotiating win-win agreements, and developing long-term relationships with these partners, as well as developing a strategy around PR, SEO, PPC and social media
- Communications and messaging strategy Formulate a sound communications and messaging strategy, taking into account your target audience, segmentation, customer retention and localization
- Work closely with the enquiries team and enquiries team leader to get feedback with a view to collaborate and improve enquiries performance and conversions of leads
- Regularly review current performance in order to devise reactive strategies to push event objectives
- Monitor overall response rates and make suggestions to improve performance on your portfolio of events
- Work with customer services, enquiries team and email marketing executives to ensure proper tracking of all marketing activity
- Gain feedback from the customer services, enquiries and sales teams to improve marketing response and performance
- Analyse and report on results on a weekly basis using internal systems, plus tools such Google Analytics
- Keep up-to-date with competitive intelligence and market conditions
- Lead testing initiatives with a view to improve marketing performance

Requirements

- Educated to degree level 2:1 or equivalent
- Experience/ degree from an English speaking country
- Must be fluent in written and spoken English
- Experience working in a high-volume, fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Experience with B2B direct marketing, tracking and analysis
- Outstanding time management and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently, multi-task and priorities a workload
- Impeccable attention to detail
- Results-oriented commercial thinker with ability to manage budgets and make decisions based on profitability
- Excellent verbal and written communicator who is able to build relationships and negotiate win-win agreements with partners and vendors
- Solution-oriented team-player with excellent interpersonal skills
- Experience working with CRM systems and databases an advantage

This role is paying a salary of 12,000 AED to 16,000 AED a month dependent on experience. If this role is of some interest to you please apply now.
