Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Leading and managing the marketing operations and activities to increase awareness of the hospital, increase its market share, and meet revenue targets, in accordance with the organizations objectives, strategies and plans.

Key Responsibilities
- Develops and implements a marketing strategy for the hospitals product positioning, market penetration, and pricing that will improve the organization's competitive position and is consistent with the organization's overall mission, vision, and objectives.
- Liaises with senior executives across the organization to ensure marketing strategies and activities are integrated with other parts of the hospital.
- Leads, manage, and controls marketing programs and activities so that they meet the organization's short and long-term business objectives, comply with regulations and standards, and protect the organization's public reputation.
- Initiates, develops, coordinates and presents annual marketing plan based on in depth understanding of the market environment, hospital, assets, and patients. Securing senior management agreement.
- Recommends spending requirements and operate within approved budget.
- Monitors business performance against plans, recommends and makes changes as necessary to ensure targets are achieved.
- Contributes to business planning at the executive level.
- Supervises all tasks of promoting and presenting the hospital to the public & Orchestrate Public Relations of the hospital and promote hospital corporate image.
- Supervises and monitors effective and efficient media plan, achieving reach & Frequency targets.
- Protects and enhances the hospitals trade mark usage and standards: this is applicable to all promotions, advertising and merchandising materials.
- Develops pricing strategies/packages that secure agreed level of volume and in conjunction with pricing committee.
- Develops and coordinates implementation of Patients' promotions and events.
- Develops and implements effective merchandising materials to support internal marketing efforts.
- Monitors, analyzes, and evaluates market trends, patient behavior, and competitor activity to identify market opportunities; adjust marketing strategy and plans to meet changing markets and competitive conditions.
- Supervises continuous and ad-hoc market research, which supports the marketing strategy.
- Makes volume (patients) forecast based on analysis of recent and historical trends and planned marketing activities.
- Develops and launches new products or services to leverage existing business opportunities.
- Defines advertising objectives, recommends choice of media and allocates resources so advertising campaigns are effective, economical and appropriate for intended audience.
- Ensures that the marketing staff project at all times a good corporate image and is fully able to present an in-depth exposition of the hospitals services and facilities throughout the business and general communities.
- Provides regular feedback, development opportunities and coaching, taking prompt action where necessary.
- Ensures the team complies with the hospitals policies, processes, practices and systems, and maintains the hospitals high standard of care, quality, and performance improvement.

Requirements

- Bachelors degree in marketing or business administration.
- Six to eight years experience in marketing field with at least three years experience in a managerial role.
