The Role


With a recorded growth of 17% in 2011 and a stable economy based on oil and Gas, Qatar is currently the strongest financial place in Middle East.

Due to this economic boom, our client, a leading Technology Services Provider, is actively looking to recruit a Marketing Manager to join its expanding team; the jobholder will be in charge of implementing an effective Marketing strategy for the company.

Position is based in Doha, Qatar

The main responsibilities will include:
- Set up the firm marketing strategy, taking into account the environment, local regulations and competition.
- Launch market studies and customer segmentation and follow-up with recommendations
- Draft the Brand policy
- Build up all marketing material to promote the brand and services, including packaging, brochures, adverts, client presentations, and newsletter
- Manage media relationship for promotion and advertisement
- Develop e-marketing campaigns through electronic channels (mobile phone, internet)
- Support the Sales team in order to achieve the firm profit targets

The ideal candidate will have:
- a Bachelor Degree in Banking, Finance or related subject; Master/MBA will be a plus
- 6 to 8 years experience in marketing, ideally for a Managed Service Provider, a Technology company or a Telecom company
- Minimum 3 years managerial experience
- Good expertise in marketing material (branding, brochures, adverts, newsletter, online marketing)
- Sales-oriented
- Excellent relationship building and communication skills in English and Arabic (mandatory)
